Thank You, Sioux Falls

We came up short in this election — but I would not trade a single day of it.

To everyone who knocked on a door, made a phone call, put a sign in the yard, wrote a check, or simply stopped me on the sidewalk to talk about the city you love: thank you. You gave your time, your money, and your trust, and none of that is a small thing to give.

This campaign was never really about me. It was about safe neighborhoods, an honest budget, and growth that keeps Sioux Falls a place our kids can afford to stay in. Those things did not stop mattering on election night, and neither did the people who showed up for them.

Sioux Falls is home. It has been for a long time, and it will be for a long time yet. I am not going anywhere — I will keep working for this community, just from a different seat.
